Kids First Data Resource Center Co-Principal Investigator, Allison Heath, PhD, presented a poster at the conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology (ISMB) in Chicago, Illinois which describes how the Kids First Data Resource Center is integrating data and technologies for childhood cancer and structural birth defect research to researchers of computer science, molecular biology, mathematics, statistics and related fields. Additionally, the poster addresses how the genetic data is being harmonized to allow researchers to analyze and compare different disease types.
