The NIH Common Fund’s Gabriella Miller Kids First Pediatric Research Program (Kids First) invites you to attend the “Kids First Poster Session and Meet & Greet” on Thursday, October 18th, 2018 at the American Society Human Genetics Annual Meeting.
This evening poster session will focus on analyses of Kids First X01 cohort projects, and existing collaborative efforts across Kids First projects. The Kids First Data Resource Center will be available to show live portal demonstrations. This event is an opportunity for the scientific community and public to engage with Kids First investigators and discuss future collaborations. Overall, attendees will gain a broad understanding of the utility of genomic data generated by Kids First, and how investigators can use Kids First data to accelerate research and promote new discoveries.
Goals of the Kids First Poster Session and Meet & Greet
- Provide an update on the progress of Kids First analyses and collaborations
- Cultivate a Kids First community of researchers, clinicians, patients, families, and foundations
- Collect feedback and recommendations regarding how the Kids First program and Data Resource Center can further support genetic discovery and collaborations
