Drs. Jonathan Rios and Carol Wise investigate the genetic determinants and developmental mechanisms of pediatric musculoskeletal disorders. A primary focus is unraveling the complex genetic basis of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, the most common musculoskeletal disorder of childhood. Drs. Wise and Rios also use genomics to understand the causes of rare skeletal and inflammatory disorders in children. To learn more about Drs.
